28 SPIRITUAL BONE GODDESS KALI SKULL IMPERMANENCE MALA :
These carved yak bone skull beads are reminiscent of the necklace of skulls that the Goddess Kali wears symbolizing liberation, knowledge, and wisdom. This classic Tibetan mala features handmade and hand-carved yak bone beads.
Each bead is hand-carved individually in the shape of a skull. In Buddhism, the skull is often recognized as a symbol of impermanence.
Handmade with 28 counting beads, including Guru beads.
The mala beads are outsourced from Nepal and personally hand-strung by me.
MEANING OF THE MALA :
Skulls traditionally represent the Transition of the Impermanence of Life and the Limits of Human Knowledge and Bodily Power. As a symbol, it communicates that Death is a part of the Natural Law and the Passage of Time. Skull beads and symbols help remind us to reflect upon the Inevitability of Death and the necessity of embracing lives filled with love and compassion.
This mala serves as a powerful reminder to be here now and to live in the present moment because nothing is permanent.
Bone is a traditional material used in Mala in both Nepal and Tibet. Bone represents the earth and our connection to it. Bone is also said to signify strength and to amplify prana (life force energy).
MEASUREMENT :
Bead size is 24mm
Length -18 Inches
MALA BEADS INFORMATION :

* Our prayer beads are purified and blessed before shipping but we do suggest performing an intention-setting ritual before using or wearing them. It is recommended to store your prayer beads in a mala bag or box.
* All of our mala beads are backed by our 108-day breakage guarantee. Read our Mala Bead Care and Cleaning Guide to learn how to keep your mala looking its best and avoid premature breakages.
A NOTE ON BONE BEADS :
In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yaks or water buffalo to be used for service, food, clothing, and ritual items. Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animals go to waste. These amazing bone beads are handcrafted by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in their daily life and spiritual practice.
