DESIGN AND CRAFTSMANSHIP :
This design is inspired by the Traditional Kullu Jamawar Weave design. It is plain and simple but universally liked and used by both Men and Women. The ends are finished with a natural fringe. Extra care has been taken in the production to ensure a soft feel owing to its smooth texture. It will give a cozy and warm feeling in cold winters.

MATERIAL OF THE SHAWL: CASHMERE WOOL
The wool of the shawl comes from an animal fiber, Cashmere, derived from the Changthangi goat of Ladakh. It is well known for its warmth, light weight, and softness, in addition to its characteristic dye-absorbing properties.
The average fiber fineness of Cashmere wool fiber is 12-16 microns. It takes the wool from three to four goats to produce one Pashmina shawl of measurements 200*100 cm. One goat produces about 150 grams of cashmere per year.

WEAVING OF THE HIMALAYAN SHAWL:
This shawl is made by using a traditional loom. The weaving technique is a tilt process of weaving. In this procedure, the woolen shawls are manually made by winding, drafting, denting, pulling, and adjusting as per the requirement.
The artisans use the color graph as the reference for the design that they will weave manually.
