VINTAGE HAND-MADE TIBETAN BUDDHISM BRASS MANJUSHREE BODDHISATTVA DEITY STATUE :
This Vintage Tibetan Buddhism Brass Manjushree Boddhisattva Deity Statue is very well made and in very good condition with some dents, marks, and scratches as well as a darkened patina of age. The idol dates from the early 1970s and was acquired in the beautiful and historic city of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, North-East India.

The statue is the Namasangiti form of Manjushri Bodhisattva, the embodiment of all knowledge, who preached Namasamgiti for his disciple Vajrapani and his wrathful retinue to lead them into Buddhahood.
The Namasangiti Manjushree Bodhisattva sculpture has been crafted by the creative artisans of Nepal, who specialize in creating one-of-a-kind artwork. Brass, known for its impeccable shine and brightness, has been used to bring out the charm and beautiful godly features of the Namasangiti Manjushree Bodhisattva.

The statue is handcrafted by the very skillful and professional artisans of Nepal, who have acquired their skills and knowledge from their great ancestors. SYMBOLISM OF DAKINI VAJRAYOGINI :
Mañjuśrī is a bodhisattva who represents prajñā (transcendent wisdom) of the Buddhas in Mahāyāna Buddhism.

Manjushri is one of the most popular bodhisattvas and tutelary deity figures in Tantric Buddhism. Practiced in all schools, new and old, there are dozens of lineages, forms, and variations of practice. For the Sarma Schools Manjushri is found in all four tantric classifications: Kriya, Carya, Yoga, and Anuttarayoga.
